Call for Entry: Tall Tales | Due Nov.1

Light Leaked and Canopy Collective invite artists to submit for a simultaneous physical and online exhibition “Tall Tales: an investigative look into the surreal.” We are seeking images of altered and deceptive reality. Show us optical illusions, visual surprises, a fresh point-of-view. We are interested in the way light and perspective reign master to the photographer and how they can be used to trick the mind’s eye.

This exhibition is open to artists working in any lens-based media including but not limited to: analog and digital photography, alternative process, and video. All works (excluding video) must not exceed 36’” inches framed.

Select artists will be invited to exhibit their work at Canopy Collective in Cleveland, OH December 3 – 6, 2015. An exhibition preview will be held December 3, 4-9 pm followed by a formal reception December 4 from 6 to 10 pm. There will be an emphasis on local Cleveland artists along with national artists for the physical exhibition. An expanded selection of work will be presented on Light Leaked beginning December 3 and will be archived on the site.
