Tall Tales: an investigative look into the surreal

Light Leaked and Canopy Collective are proud to present Tall Tales: an investigative look into the surreal.  This juried group exhibition features photographs and video that depict altered and deceptive reality. From optical illusions to visual surprises, these artists demonstrate their mastery over light and perspective to alter the minds eye.

Light Leaked Summer Hiatus

Starting today, Light Leaked will be taking a summer hiatus so that I, Ashley Kauschinger, can concentrate on my new body of work and recharge.

Not to worry, I will continue sharing inspiration in August!

Actually NOW would be the perfect time to propose a project, article, how-to, exhibition, guest editor, interview, collaboration idea that may take an extended period of time to create to publish when we get back. Send those ideas along to lightleaked@gmail.com so we can all get working!

I hope that all the artists out there have a beautifully fruitful summer. 

Remember that your voice is important and powerful.

One Year Anniversary: Print Giveaway

Today is the one year anniversary of Light Leaked! This has been an amazing year, full of new friends, amazing conversations, and a lot (a lot) of photographs. I would like to take this time to thank everyone that has been a part of Light Leaked this year, whether through an interview, feature, or being a supportive reader. THANK YOU!

As a thank you, I will be doing a print giveaway of my photograph "Self-portrait Without You". The print you will receive if you win will be 8x10 inches on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag.

Give away will run until August 9, 2013, a winner will be announced August 16, 2013
